Dos de las máximas estrellas latinas volverán a brillar juntas. Se trata de Shakira y Santana, quienes repetirán la experiencia de trabajar juntos un tema del que aún no tiene definido el nombre, pero se incluirá en Ultimate Santana, el nuevo trabajo discográfico del guitarrista jalisciense.

Después de que el mexicano colaborara en el disco de la diva colombiana con el tema Illegal, ahora Shakis le devolverá el favor y participará en el siguiente disco de Santana con un trabajo, que dicen, sorprenderá a todos.
Ultimate Santana es un álbum recopilatorio que reunirá lo mejor de la carrera del guitarrista jaliscience y tres canciones inéditas: una que reunirá a Santana con Shakira y Lil Wayne, otra será Into the night con la voz de Chad Kroeger (Nickelback) y una nueva versión de The game of love, interpretada originalmente por Michelle Branch y que en esta ocasión correrá a cargo de Tina Turner."Gracias a Michelle tengo un Grammy y ella puso su propio espíritu, su inocencia y su pureza a la canción, pero Tina era originalmente la artista invitada para este corte. Por cuestión de política no pudo ser. De cualquier manera, cuando la oyes se me ponen los pelos de punta", comentó el guitarrista recientemente. Sin embargo, éste no es el único proyecto de Santana, pues ya piensa en un disco doble que provisionalmente ha llamado Multi-dimensional warrior y en el que recopilaría siete álbumes como Abraxas y Supernatural, en el que grabaría nuevas guitarras y posiblemente vea la luz en los inicios de 2008. El guitarrista deleitará próximamente a sus fans, pues emprenderá una gira mundial que tentativamente arrancará en Dubai y recorrerá países como Nueva Zelanda, Australia y Honk Kong, hasta marzo del año próximo.
